How do I reach out if I have questions?

We are committed to making sure that you  have a wonderful experience! If issues do arise, please reach out to your teacher to get their support.  Your teacher will provide you with her phone number and email address, and you are encouraged to contact her directly.

If you are not able to resolve your issues or have misplaced your teacher's contact information, please reach out to us at info@simplymusicstudios.com or call our office at 779-379-2437, and we will work with you and your teacher to support you as best we can.

Joliet Campus: 2312 Essington Rd. at Crossroads Christian Church

What is our rehearsal and performance calendar and attendance policy?

We understand that every performer has other commitments from time to time. We will ask for a list of your schedule conflicts prior to the start of rehearsals, so the director can schedule rehearsals accordingly.

Performers may not miss more than 3 rehearsals and also understand that attendance is mandatory during Tech Week and all performances.

Being in a show is making a commitment to the production and the other people in it.  Being on time to rehearsals is a great way to honor that commitment to other cast members, as well as attending rehearsals.

Can I enroll at any time?

For Beauty and the Beast Jr, registration begins August 1, 2024. We will close registration either when we reach capacity or in the case we are not filled to capacity, we will close registration one day after the start date of September 29, 2024.

For Frozen Jr, registration begins January 1, 2025. We will close registration either when we reach capacity or in the case we are not filled to capacity, we will close registration one day after the start date of March 3, 2025.

For Willy Wonka Jr, registration begins January 1, 2025. We will close registration either when we reach capacity or in the case we are not filled to capacity, we will close registration one day after the start date of July 7, 2025.

What's included in my tuition?

Your tuition is for everything that is included with enrollment here at Simply Music – all rehearsals, three performances , and a cast T-shirt. And then of course, there’s also all the love, time, and effort your directing team puts in as well!

How does tuition work?

Simply Music offers a hassle-free automated payment system. When you're charged for tuition, we will immediately email a receipt to you. Tuition is automatically charged at the time of registration. All cancellations must be submitted via this Change of Enrollment form following this timetable:

Beauty and the Beast Jr: All cancellations must be completed BEFORE September 1st, 2024.
Frozen Jr: All cancellations must be completed BEFORE January 1, 2025.
Willy Wonka Jr: All cancellations must be completed BEFORE June 1, 2025.

All cancellations will be subject to a refund of up to the full price of the class minus a $50 processing fee per class IF we receive a Change of Enrollment form BEFORE the date listed above for your respective show. For cancellations of registrations dated BY or AFTER the dates listed above, no refunds or credit will be issued.
 
You can also check your current balance and change your class at our Parent Portal.

What happens in case. . . of bad weather, my teacher is ill or needs to reschedule, or I miss a class?

What happens in inclement weather?
Any weather closing information for Simply Music will be posted on our studio Facebook site, as well as confirmed via email or text.  Assume that we are remaining open for lessons or classes unless we announce differently. If weather conditions are such that we need to close our locations, we will provide a makeup date for the class.

What happens if my teacher is unwell?
We will make every effort to provide a substitute teacher who is fully prepared to run the class and follow the lesson plan prepared for that day.

What happens if I miss a class?
Unfortunately, there are no makeups for missed classes.

What if I need to cancel?

We understand that circumstances can change for families impacting your ability to participate in live instruction.

You must submit a cancellation request via this Change of Enrollment form.

All cancellations must be completed by this timetable:

Frozen Jr: All cancellations must be completed BEFORE January 1, 2025.
