About Jennifer

Jennifer Corp holds a State of Illinois Teaching License, a Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University, and a Master’s Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music.  Throughout her 20+ year career, she has conducted and taught all levels of Choral/Vocal Music, from Kindergarten through Professional and Amateur Adults.  

 

Her choral and vocal experience ranges from opera to pop, and her groups have included Concert Choirs, Jazz Choirs, A capella Choirs, Show Choirs, and Madrigal and Chamber Groups. Her choirs have regularly placed in Division I with the Illinois Grade School Music Association and Illinois Music Educators Association, and placed first at regional competitions such as the Six Flags Competitions in Gurnee, IL. Her choirs have performed for television, professional sporting events, venues of all sizes, festivals, formal dinners and ceremonies, and workshops.  

 

In addition, Jennifer has directed, produced, and choreographed musical theater productions of all ages and levels throughout the Chicago Southland, and was a founding board member of several successful theatrical groups in the area.

 

Jennifer loves sharing her passion for the vocal arts and watching young people discover their voice. She lives in Frankfort with her husband and daughter Gabby.
